Developed a 28-Acre master site plan, landscape plan, parking and circulation plan, lighting plan, wetlands enhancement plan, and recreation plan. Represented the client in the conditional use process and site plan review. Extensive work was done to enhance the wetlands turning a “drainage ditch” into a series of pools and rapids. Developed a master recreation plan that included a trail system, outdoor amphitheater, interpretive area, rain shelter, flex sports field, children’s play area, and courtyard plaza area. The amphitheater--placed in a naturalistic setting connected by a series of campus trails--was created in close proximity to a stream. Using natural materials the 00-seat amphitheater was designed for the church and school for teaching and interpretive purposes. Developed a parking and site circulation plan. Relocated access roads and utilities.

Site planning for a 30,000 SF church facility on a 16-acre site. Developed a master site plan, lighting plan, landscape plan, and parking/circulation plan. A recreation plan was also developed that located multi-purpose play fields. Additionally, on-site wetlands and existing trees were preserved. Represented the client in the conditional use process and site plan review. Coordinated the efforts of subconsultants including surveying, civil engineering, wetlands, and architectural.

The landscape plan was complimented by new site amenities designed and constructed for the remodeled site including light fixtures, stonework design for a covered drop off area, pilasters, and a plaza with site furnishings.

Best of Show in the National Ministry and Liturgy Awards Program for the Baptistry.
The master plan for this land-locked site increased the on-site parking through a more efficient layout. The master plan also provided a front door to the community through the proposed new building. The building, planned to allow growth, will house before and after school care, the Library / Media center, the Teen room, the Art room, the Music/ Performance room, and a daylight basement for future growth. The new building will not only provide a welcoming face to the community, but will include an outdoor grand stairway linking the traffic circle to the Church's front doors.

New 18,000 square foot church with exposed wood ceiling and abundant natural light. With the roof rising like a butterfly (symbol of Resurrection), the Church was designed to answer the congregation’s desires to keep open views north from the church over the valley and admit southern light to balance and reduce glare. The Master Plan included new church for 800 and 12,000 SF religious education facility.

The church was desperate for a place to welcome parishioners before and after mass. Built with its main entry towards the street and away from the parking, the majority of parishioners used a small side door to enter the church. Our Master plan developed a new entry space that was accessible from the street as well as the parking lot. The new welcoming two story space also doubled as the entry to the new parish center that contained offices and meeting spaces.

The organization of our Master Plan for this parish brought unity between the School and the Church using the common Multipurpose Room as the link. To either side of the Multipurpose Room were the main entries to the campus. On the West was the entry to the Church, the Offices, and a plaza with the bell tower. On the East was the entry to the School, and a plaza for outdoor education and drop-off and pick up waiting. Our Master Plan helped eliminate many of the dangerous conflicts between vehicle paths and pedestrian walkways. We were also retained to design a renovation to the existing church and creation of a small blessed sacrament chapel.
